Each R.Riveter bag takes a trip from cross country to your hands. Its components are made by independent military spouses in their homes around the country and then sent to R.Riveters' FabShop in North Carolina for assembly into a unique bag just for you.
The Otto is R.Riveter's most popular and iconic handbags. It has an adjustable cross-body strap and functional handle, which makes it ideal for carrying on your shoulder, slinging over your body, or using as a hands-free purse.

The Otto was named in honor of one of the original Rosies, Mrs. Elinore Otto. When World War II began and male workers were called into service, Mrs. Otto was among the nearly six million women who volunteered to fill the gap left behind by the departure of her husband. She worked until 2014, when Boeing closed the plant where she had spent her career. She was responsible for assembling every single C-17 aircraft that passed through the facility.
Maintenance of R. Riveter Leather:
R.Riveter uses real veg tanned leather in their handbags because they better with age. If you happen to get scratches or water marks, you can usually get the bag looking new again with just a little maintenance.
Canvas Care Suggestions:
When spot cleaning the canvas, we suggest using a brush or sponge with water only to wipe it off soiled area. We do not recommend using anything other than water as it could discolor canvas material.
